The story of the Dragon
Bulgaria's first and only private circuit for car and motorcycle sport.
Dracon Race Track was built in early summer 2005 on a former airfield. The entire construction was privately financed by Dragon LLC — a family company from Plovdiv founded in the mid-1990s.
The track is the work and design of Hristo Stoilov — a former rally champion. In 2024–2025 the facility underwent a major rebuild and extension, growing from roughly 2.0 km to 2.9 km, with 16 turns (9 left, 7 right).
The circuit hosts professional races, club meets, training, track days, car presentations, team-building and seminars — and has become a favourite destination for speed enthusiasts across Bulgaria.
Its central location in Bulgaria is a big advantage: about 10 km from the Trakia motorway, 20 km north of Plovdiv and 15 km south of Hisarya. The mild climate allows year-round driving.
